I’m Colin Gallagher. I run analytics and AI systems at Siemens, where I’ve spent the last eight years building data infrastructure and, more recently, shipping AI agents inside a large industrial company.
I’m interested in the gap between what technology promises and what it actually takes to make it work. AI, platforms, how organizations build things. I also build things on my own time, and the problems are surprisingly similar whether you’re working inside a hundred-thousand-person company or shipping a side project on a Saturday morning.
